The Professional Diploma in Business (PDB) blends theory with practical training, not only demonstrating fundamental knowledge across a wide range of business disciplines, but also explaining the broad economic, social, regulatory and ethical environments in which businesses operate within our global economy.
A career in business administration is far from just answering telephones and taking messages. You need a broad range of technical skills to keep up with the pace – all of which we’ll teach you in 12 months.

Teaching Mode
- Face-to-face tuition in Hong Kong conducted by experienced lecturers and class schedule designed for full-time students
- There are 4 terms a year and students should study for 2 modules per term
- There are 42 lecture hours per module
Assessment Method
The assessment tasks involve a combination of assignments, examination and other exercises set in accordance with each module’s learning outcomes

Entry Requirement
Must fulfil any of the following requirements:
- Successful completion of Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) / Senior Secondary 3, or
- Successful completion of Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) / Form 5 with at least two years of work experience, or
- Graduate of new Project Yi Jin, or
- Completion a Pre-Associate Degree programme, or
- Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the School

HK$37,500 (12 instalments)
Articulation pathway
Local Study
- Graduates can further pursue their studies through Advanced Diploma in Management (9 months) to articulate to BA (Hons) Business Administration (Top-up)* from the Birmingham City University.
Overseas Study
- Articulate to Kaplan Business School, Australia to enter the Bachelor’s degree in Australia (can be completed in 2 years), where graduates can apply for 2 years working visa in Australia^
^ Kaplan Business School & Kaplan Business and Accountancy School do not guarantee that students will obtain working visa approval by the immigration, Australia.
