Tropical Cyclone and Heavy Persistent Rainstorm Arrangements

Seminars or lectures of Kaplan Higher Education, Kaplan Financial, Kaplan Professional & Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions Post-graduate public courses and personal consultation (GMAT, GRE):

All will be postponed when a local Tropical Cyclone warning signal No.8 or above, or Black Rainstorm warning signal is in force. Arrangements for class resumptions are as below: -

• If either of the warnings is lowered at or before 07:00
  • All morning seminars or lectures will be conducted as scheduled, as well as the rest of the day.
• If either of the warnings is lowered between 07:00 and 11:00
  • All morning seminars or lectures will be postponed, but all afternoon and evening seminars or lectures will be conducted as scheduled.
• If either of the warnings is lowered between 11:00 and 16:00
  • All afternoon seminars or lectures will be postponed, but all evening seminars or lectures will be conducted as scheduled.
• If either of the warnings is lowered after 16:00
  • All evening seminars or lectures commencing from 18:00 onwards will be postponed automatically.
• If Black Rainstorm warning signal is in force during class
  • All seminars or lectures will be continued as scheduled.

If the above signals (Tropical Cyclone warning signal No.8 or Black Rainstorm warning signal) are hoisted on your assignment submission date, the submission date will be postponed to the next working day. Please submit your assignment during the usual office hours.

• If either of the warnings is lowered at or before 06:00
  • All morning seminars or lectures will be conducted as scheduled, as well as the rest of the day.
• If either of the warnings is lowered between 06:00 and 11:00
  • All morning seminars or lectures will be postponed, but all afternoon and evening seminars or lectures will be conducted as scheduled.
• If either of the warnings is lowered between 11:00 and 16:00
  • All afternoon seminars or lectures will be postponed, but all evening seminars or lectures will be conducted as scheduled.
• If either of the warnings is lowered after 16:00
  • All evening seminars or lectures commencing from 18:00 onwards will be postponed automatically.
• If Red/Black Rainstorm warning signal is in force during class
  • All seminars or lectures will be continued as scheduled.

If the above signals (Tropical Cyclone warning signal No.8 or Red/Black Rainstorm warning signal) are hoisted on your assignment submission date, the submission date will be postponed to the next working day. Please submit your assignment during the usual office hours.

Kaplan will endeavor to reschedule the affected seminars or lectures onto the following normal teaching days. Students will be informed about the make-up schedules by email. The class materials will be communicated to the students during their subsequent sessions.
